At True Vacation Travel we understand that your vacation can take a year to save for, but only a second to ruin. While you can’t do anything to prevent an unexpected storm from closing the airport, you can do something to help cover your travel investment-buy travel insurance.
Travel insurance can provide you coverage for medical expenses, trip cancellation/interruption, baggage damage, delays, and much more.
Plus, most plans include 24-hour “911” travel emergency service for emergency medical assistance, last-minute or emergency travel and flight changes, lost luggage tracking, pre-trip travel advice, and more.
We are often asked about travel protection or travel insurance in our office. The most common reason our clients choose this protection is to guard against the unexpected happening at an unexpected time. And with cancellation and change fees increasing every year, there is a valid concern for protecting your hard earned money when the unexpected happens and it affects your travel plans. As recent as December 26, 2013 a new report in USA Today reports more airport change fees coming.
At True Vacation Travel your travel professional will provide you information on the various plans available to you. They are optional coverage for you, and we ask that you consider the value of the plans available. In 2013 we had 33 clients cancel their vacations for various reasons, many of which our clients received partial or full refunds through their travel protection policies.
Beyond traditional travel insurance, we also offer supplementary air insurance through BHTP AirCare.
